It has a limpid quality that lifts it well above the ruck of so many Barossa wines. The more time I spend with it, the more I appreciate its quality. A quiet achiever, if you like. All his 2018 wines were great, including Andelmode which he didn’t make since. CD price was $105 IIRC so $140 isn’t too bad for back vintage.

I got one of the original branded horizontal 6 bottle boxes but the 12 bottle boxes delivered were brown boxes & not as large/thick. This was from auction, not carpe diem & included the box acting as an outer for original 6/12 packs and loose bottles too.

Just making mention in case any of you were going to recycle a bunch of the old ones (like me…) expecting new ones to come in the next delivery.

All their boxes are now plain. The 12 bottle carton still has a divider inside. Its just about saving money by having no printing. I agree the boxes are not as tough as the original Langtons boxes but it is once again about cost.
