Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Was tempted but wasn’t sure if First Growth Terra Rossa was same as the usual First Growth. Did the Terra Rossa get dropped from the name along the way? Limited reviews I could find for the Terra Rossa First Growth. Knowing my luck it will be a cracker
It is the same. Their entry level Estate Terra Rossa is exceptional too. And often on sale at $20 or lower.

Nice, but I'm not crying yet. Anyone else care to state what they nabbed?

Put a mixed dozen including Hares Chase and Arila Gardens in the cart, wanted some more Seppelt SRSS 2008, but not at $10pb more than last time. So cleared the cart and walked away to have another look at VM Unicorns, but nothing there either.
Cheap day, probably a good thing after recent buys of a couple of 6-packs of Valli 2021 Pinots.

Get a good deal on the Valli?

Went for a mixed pack too and grabbed some Ironscraper, alongside some WA picks:

I didn’t think there were a lot of great deals - lots of 30% off but I usually aim for more than 50% off. Still managed to put together 2 dozen.

I'm feeling much better now I'm in bigoted company on the sideline, even if that was only by dint of my stupid inattention! Thanks for cheering me up RB.

Good choices there. I got some of the Tapanappa and Parker First Growth. Does anyone know how to get advance warning of the Langton’s carpe diem sales? Can’t see where you can subscribe to alerts

You have to be an employee or "friend" in the industry to get on the notification list. I just stick a reminder in my calendar for every Thursday at 11am to check, it's usually the last Thursday of the month but does vary.

Not sure if this is a byproduct of Bec Hardy constant deals on ozbargain but it seems like the 2019 yeoman is quite cheap on Langtons (albeit via auction)

I think this was on sale via Carpe Diem a while back but still a massive discount for what was once $250 rrp

They did save a bit on a lighter bottle and cheaper capsule when they reduced the RRP to $100.
The Yeoman 2019 was $33pb in the Carpe Diem sale 25th May.
There has been a fair amount of Tipsy Hill Cabernet 2019 on the fortnightly Unreserved Auctions, selling as low as $36pb before the 20+% fees and freight, but withdrawn from the most recent Unreserved auction, maybe just too low.

More Tipsy Hill 2019 in the next Unreserved auction to, but it looks like someone effectively bid up a reserve on them all.

Any change in wine quality though? Interesting strategy to reduce rrp when everyone is heading the other way
