Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

I ordered half a dozen of their Chairman Shiraz a while ago through some deal that ended up just under $20 a bottle (vs their claimed 120 RRP)

Was about what you'd expect from "Reis Creek Wines will continue making series of high quality wines which can combine the taste for both Australian market and the Asian market."

There wasn't anything wrong with it - but also nothing to recommend either.
Expensive bottle, quaffer quality wine.
Shame about the website though...

Pretty much all the mystery wines on Winestar are also listed in plain sight, doesn't take long to find them using the filters available.

eg BV214 is Schwarz Wine Co The Grower GSM 2021
BA194 is Auld Dean Street Creek Barossa Shiraz 2019

Dammit! I put it in my calendar, remembered last night and then roundly ignored it til right now!!! Please someone tell me it was unusually rubbish this time thanks.

Personally I thought the 2009 First Growth for $55 was the deal of the day - YMMV
Was tempted but wasn’t sure if First Growth Terra Rossa was same as the usual First Growth. Did the Terra Rossa get dropped from the name along the way? Limited reviews I could find for the Terra Rossa First Growth. Knowing my luck it will be a cracker
