Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Hi there

My local footy club is running a wine fundraiser featuring Wirra Wirra and Serafino Wines. www.oifc.com.au/wine

The pricing looks reasonably good and the mixed packs seem to provide some good variety.

Free shipping is available by using the coupon code DeliveryFree

Hopefully it is of interest to someone.

Cheers 🍷

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Qantas Wine ran a promotion last month that if you spent $600 or more in July you would be gifted a $75 voucher. It was run on as a banner on the Qantas Wine homepage and the small print stated there were no exclusions. I neglected to take a screenshot and now can't find anything online about the promotion. I haven't received my voucher and QF call centre say they don't know anything about the promotion. I feel like QF Wine are gas lighting me, can anybody else shed some light on this promotion?
Qantas chat this morning stated that the vouchers are sent today or tomorrow.

Wolf Blass Black Label Cabernet Shiraz Malbec 2013 $65 at First Choice, normally around $100 elsewhere. Plenty of delivery stock available in NSW, not much in store.

Saltram No. 1 Barossa Shiraz 2016 $50 at Liquor Land it's $75 at cellardoor

Bin 389 2017 is $75 again at Vintage Cellars and 2019 is $78.90 at Dan Murphy's

DM also has Yering Station Reserve Chardonnay 2015 for $66.50ea by the case, single bottle price $120
There will be bonus cashback coming up at LL/FC, so worth waiting if any of these interest you.

Any thoughts on the WB BL 2013? Seppelt St Peters 2016?

FC will have 2,000 bonus pts, + CB so it'll make them 30% less.

Anyone else received a phone call from Dan Murphys?

Basically offering me wines not available online, or in-store to members.

He left a voicemail, and the original number is Melbourne or Sydney.

I can't find much information. $89 for a case. Source OzB.

  • Premium Cool Climate Eden Valley Shiraz
  • Intense fruit and subtle oak flavours
  • Made by Award Winning Winemaker Richard Quodling
Avon Brae was a Cellarmasters wine.
I bought a dozen of this Avon Brea EV Shiraz 2019 for $139.30 in the Cellarmasters finale, decent wine, goes into quaffer packs.
The Craneford seems to be a slightly cheaper line, made for early drinking.

Yeah, someone actually commented that they've bought this for more from CM and it was smoothe/complex 😬. They bought another 2 cases apparently.

Mystery packs back up on Head Wines. In the past the cheaper mystery Shiraz has been Head Red and the more expensive one Brunette.
