Flew today on CX 754 BKK HKG in the old configuration, what a disaster. Flight attendant went to serve me the meal and she dropped on my tray which sent me glass shattering everywhere hot meal all over my legs. Safe to say I got burnt on the right ankle. Ice applied for the next 2 hours then off to see the doctor in Hong Kong so had to clear customs and immigration for a half hour visit. Turns out I have blisters from the burn on my ankle and the doctor has prescribed antibiotic cream and I am back in the first lounge with QF awaiting 128 back to Sydney and its Nancy Bird Walton. Also my shadow has gone lol. Any way I have a fitness to fly certificate from the doctor and only in slight pain, could have been worse. Cabin crew absolutely fantastic about it ground crew hopeless had to do a DYKWIA moment as an emerald as they left me sitting at the gate.So don't order the beef on a CX regional 777 as the TV monitors get in the road and cause pain lol.

Yikes, after you've recovered I presume you'll be looking for a bit of compensation, at least to offset the ruined experience :p

I would have expected better from CX crew.. But suffice to say, I have evidently experienced worse.
I certainly hope the recovery action to be more attune from such a reputable carrier.
Wish you safe & comfortable further journey.
