I seem to recall reading that QF have changed the access rule for OW flights and made it a bit more flexible. Are OWE allowed to guest in any one that is on OW flight on the same day or does it is have to same metal with a corresponding OW flight. Only asking as MrsM and I are travelling on QF 1 so we can guest 2 into the F lounge and prior to posting the detail in the lounge meet up thread I would just like to get my facts correct.

I did try to look up on the QF site from the QP in ADL but the only site I cannot reach is the Qantas website. Go figure.

A Oneworld Emerald travelling on a oneworld marketed and oneworld operated flight with lounge access can guest another PAX travelling on any oneworld marketed and oneworld operated flight departing from the same port.

Qantas did subtly update their lounge access page last year so it complied with oneworld rules in that respect.

Another question, @serfty was this change across the network or just QF. We have other flights in the same trip that we potentially offer F lounge access to others.

Ex SIN - JL
Ex HND - JL
Ex LHR - BA
Ex JFK - JL
Ex HND - QF

I have a similar question and instead of starting a new thread I thought I'd piggyback on this one...

Plat on AA tickets, with two Bronze teenage children, all in Y. Lounge access at LAX travelling AA to DFW? Lounge access at DFW on the way to SYD AA ticket/QF metal?

I've checked the Oneworld site and it mentions one guest, nothing about dependent kids. Kids are allowed in the lounge if flying on the appropriate class or status. Mine will not be. Struck issues with JAL a couple of years ago and I'm not keen to repeat the experience.

TIA.
