How did you get access to the F/CL/P1 menu if not flying on QF metal?A great session in the Sydney Flounge.
Salt and pepper squid washed down by Lallier rose based on advice from this thread, followed by the trout crudo and Strelley Farm chardonnay (very good IMO), minute steak (and Neil’s leaves) with the Smithbrook pinot noir (wine just okay), and Lilly Pilly noble blend with pav and brown sugar sponge (couldn’t decide, so ‘why not both?’).. Will round off proceedings with an espresso and a nip of Lark. Then roll onto EK417…

IIRC read it either here, or on the P1 FB group, where someone was denied said menu when not flying QF metal. QF codeshare did not make a difference.Maybe booked on the QF codeshare?
EK F. 36 hours of drunken debauchery…. Errr… I mean enjoying the finer things in life. Managed to polish off the Dom rose while on the ground (they had some left over from DXB).How did you get access to the F/CL/P1 menu if not flying on QF metal?

This is where I'd ask for a side of bread, since that acidified oil would be nice to have a bit of a dip in.Your trout looks good, mine this afternoon was oil with a side of trout… still tasted great though!

It was hell of a busy evening in Sydney F lounge today.
There was an attendant directing me to the shower (which I badly needed after an earlier dip at Maroubra Beach) but I still found remnants of toothpaste in the basinCleaning staff weren’t anywhere near showers so had to get their attention at the front desk. Shower areas need maintenance.
I didn't like the flavour at all. I remembered the super crunchy carrots so I took bites out of it rather than try to cut it with my knife in case it's too loud...Lamb was also a winner. Super crunchy carrots by Neil.
I found the beef and rice too dryThe spring bovine offering of the slow cooked oyster blade was very good, very tender and flavoursome, would definitely pay for this in a restaurant.
