Does anyone know how far in advance does Qatar lock in its passenger schedule for flights into Australia? 1 week in advance, 2 weeks......

I guess what I am asking, generally, how far in advance will I get confirmation my flight is going ahead or if I will have been bumped to another flight???

My flight status was changed today from departing on Friday, to being changed and confirmed to the flight on the very next day. So I was wondering if Qatar has done its fixing of its passenger schedule for my flight or not. My flight is on Feb 13 now

my flight is a business class flight from the UK

Dr FM booked her flight with Qatar on the 19th January to fly on the 26th Jan, so not much help there as it was literally a week before. I think it must have been a cancellation as there no availability and then this one popped up. She is business as well. No changes since she booked it but you would hope that was the case given it was one week!

SQ appear to be all over the place and constantly changing and cancelling.

Dr FM arrived at Heathrow and was told her ticket had been cancelled. Another couple were having problems as well. It was all sorted out and she is now in 1K having a glass of champagne, but it was a stressful hour, so be prepared for anything!

In spite of check in dramas, Dr FM reports food and service still good. Menu is not as extensive as before, but still fine.

breakfast and snack on plane and there is now a sushi bar in the lounge at Doha.

You must be so thrilled and excited about seeing her!

Oh yes!! 2 weeks quarantine in Adelaide and then she will be spending a few days in Canberra on her way to Brisbane. It’s been a long year!
Nice weather in Adelaide for next few days. Not too hot at all if she has a balcony. I understand the Tennis players have been hammering the restaurants on OConnell street.
