Hi,

My wife and I are flying on BA first class from LHR to SIN tomorrow night 7.15pm LHR time. BA is closed at the moment on their phone call centre so hope someone here knows the answers.

BA's online service won't let us check in online - who knows why but just says to call BA to sort it out but they are closed now.

We are staying at the Sofitel T5 hotel and wondering what is the earliest that you can take your luggage over to T5 and check in through first class and then of course get access to the lounge? We want to really enjoy the experience and have the whole day but have a late check out at the hotel. My wife has an injured back so won't be going into London during the day.

Also are you able to tell me which champagne BA serves on the flight in first?

Thanks heaps for all the advice and info here.

Dale.

Not much of a drinker, but in Feb and March this year there was Bollinger and Laurent Perrier Grand Siecle in the Concorde Room. Enjoy!

F Lounge champagne bar was serving Taittinger Blanc de Blancs and Bollinger Rose last week. Of course the Concorde Lounge may be a step up again.

Food in the lounge was much better than on the flight too! although the French white on the plane was some of the nicest inflight wine I've ever had. if it's not too late try and book a massage at the spa, they also have one near the gate if the lounge one is booked out so do ask. I had a cabana for a few hours and it was perfect but may not suit a couple.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.
