Indeed, I get the impression Aussies are too busy emptying supermarket shelves to go on holiday!
cheers skip

Not at the supermarkets I frequent. And at Costco, when don't shoppers here have full trollies?

I think it is more that hand sanitiser has a run on.

I think i use about 250-500grams of panko in a year - wtf would you do with 5kgs and WHY buy it at all
Apparently her grandchildren will eat anything as long as it is crumbed! She did win the hoarder prize being offered. I use panko breadcrumbs quite a lot.

I have been trying to not do too much no groceries shopping at this time (monitoring money etc )
However I bought a couple of pieces of clothing as one of my favourite shops (for plus size ) was having a half price sale . Inside my package was a little note probable A5 size saying "thank you for supporting us in this difficult time, hope to see you soon " . This isn't a small company but I did like that little note.
Anyone else doing catch ups with photo books and/or printing? That has been some of my online purchases since the lockdown

Now if only I could find yeast anywhere. Down to my last sachet and I'm a twice-weekly bread baker so Im a bit stuck.

I'm thinking of getting some cards printed similarly to put in orders I send out.

I have not seen yeast. Along with those antiseptic wipes. I'm getting low on those too.

I'm lucky I found one supermarket with wipes in stock and managed to get a couple of packs. I use them around work.

Yesterday I took a friend shopping - she cant drive for a few weeks as she had an operation last week, so we went to her local Coles, OMG it was ginormous and wide aisles too ! So I think I will do my shopping there next week when I take her again :) shame its 30kms from my place !

I can send some down to you if you want. A number of local pastry/bakery shops (like the small indy ones) are selling flours, yeast, etc, as their wholesale supplies haven't yet been affected like the retail supplies have.

Im heading to the market this afternoon so hopefully I can get some there. Thanks though :)

According to Coles, panic buying is over.

All product restrictions now lifted!

I'm pleased to let you know that we've now lifted all product restrictions that were put in place due to the pandemic buying back in March, including antibacterial wipes and liquid hand wash. This is a great result for our customers, team members and supplier partners and I would like to thank them all for their patience and hard work over the last couple of months. I'd also like to thank the state and federal governments who helped us get our deliveries to stores as quickly as possible during the height of the crisis.
