confusing fare taxes!!!!

I am doing a travel consulting course and am very confused about when and what taxes to add to fares.

Basicly there are for each terminal there is a Saftey and security charge a passenger service charge and a noise levy tax, some have all three others only one or two.

In the activities and examples they add some taxes but not others and visa versa.

If this explination makes sence to anyone and understands how i am stuck on this subject, what tax to add when and why can you help with a simple explination Thanx...

Remembering back to my days doing the Travel Management diploma, the taxes should be added automatically when the fare is constructed via whatever computer system you use.
If in doubt there is always the book with the various tax codes and when to apply them etc.
