In my experience JB & the Goodguys always knock a few $$ off whenever I purchase in person, so better going in store & have to weigh up that potential in store discount & the 10% gift card discount only by purchasing online.

No issue using gift cards, even plenty at once.

There's no limit to the number of gift cards you can use in-store or online at JB Hi-Fi. People routinely use dozens and dozens of cards for a single purchase. If you're paying online then you will first need to swap the Ultimate gift cards for some of JB Hi-Fi's own gift cards via the Ultimate Exchange website.

Buy your 10% gift cards then search online for cheapest price anywhere you can find for iPhone - Costco will prolly be the best bet for this right now - then trot along to Officeworks and get them to implement 5% price beat Costco or whoever you can find with cheapest price.

I did this for 2 x iPhone 16 Pro Max during the week.

Not quite as obvious as MEL, but easy enough. Clear immigration + security, walk through Heinemann Duty Free and follow the signs towards Gates 8-10 (around to the left after the duty free area). Easy to spot from there.

Thanks. Just went through the process of swapping the card for an online Uber gift card and then when I loaded that in it confirmed you can use it for both. (I have only got Uber eats once in the last two years but still, handy to know it's valid for that as well.)

Just in case you aren't already aware, a unique feature of Uber gift cards is that you can use them to pay for rides and orders you made up to 30 days ago by viewing the receipt for your previous purchases in the app and then switching the payment method to use your Uber gift card balance. Your old payment method (e.g. credit card, PayPal) will then be refunded. One thing to be aware of is that it may not work if you used Apple Pay or Google Pay as your original payment method.
