In Australia cant really think of a time since I've been an adult when you couldn't get a barista made coffee, quality varies of course.

How very bourgeois. You’ve been in rural WA, Tas & everywhere “ in Australia” during that time and you’ve found baristas making coffee everywhere since you’ve been an adult?

You were in Rosebery last week, Mt Magnet 5 years ago etc AND Sandy Bay pie shop last week, and spotted baristas making coffee everywhere, eh? 🙄

Really? You can’t think of anywhere in Australia since you’ve been an adult where you can’t get a barista made coffee🤣🤣🤣?? .

Ah. I guess “in Australia “ is defined as Erskineville and surrounds?

Nope not remotely. And yes they do have baristas in rural WA.

You can mock away, but i have zero desire to go camping or off grid or slum it somewhere without real coffee. When choosing where to stay proximity to good food and coffee is a top consideration for me, obviously unimportant to you. Different people prioritise different experiences.

Anyway Im opting out of this thread as i didnt ask for it to be created and its clear you see it as an invitation to pick apart everything i say just to amuse yourself or be clever or who knows. But I do know its not worth my time.

And the other places? - ALL of Australia was the claim IIRC AND during a certain past time period?

True. I love going to places likes the Stans, Russia, Laos, Patagonia etc. Not so much Erskineville or Bondi or the like. One of the attractions is to experience their food and bev. Sometimes pretty ordinary (and definitely no baristas 🤣) but that's part of the experience. I can do without paying to stay in Erskineville, having smashed avocado with a short black.

Not much that but rather startled that anyone could claim:

But there were go.

Hmmm coffee in Perth isn’t great, of all the STATE capitals it’s the worst as an average for me. Melbourne the best of course.

Hey @RooFlyer, try reading their post where 'all of Australia', refers to all of Australia that they have visited.

Maybe this should go in the Confessional thread:

I sometimes drink instant coffee.

And mass produced iced coffee...
Won't stoop to that FU filth they so adore in SA though. 🤢

Careful - not sure what state you're in but that's almost heresy here in SA :p ;)
