Classic award J international query - SG vs WP

hi, I'm currently SG and trying to find classic award J flights from Brisbane to Venice for my partner and child on June 9 / June 10, 2017

Currently a classic reward flight exists from Brisbane to Adelaide to Dubai to Venice, with Brisbane to Adelaide and Dubai to Venice in Y, and Adelaide to Dubai in J.

I've read about a benefit of WP "release of classic reward flights", and I'm wondering if I reach WP, will this classic reward flight suddenly appear (all in J)?

I''ve currently got 996 Status credits (as SG) and my anniversary date is Oct 31 to reach WP if it's worth it to get these classic J reward seats

The platinum benefit allows you to request (with no guarantee), that an extra reward seat is released. Some have reported increases in classic reward availability for elite status, and also success with multiple seats being released upon request.

Don't forget that the J ADL>DXB is an angle flat with Emirates on a 777.
