Trying to work out which date I want to fly QF128 HKG-SYD. By looking at this, fights are busier 19-21 Nov? Still not sure about how class availability numbers all work

Wonder what chances are for these magic op up as QP PS

17-Nov F8 A8 J9 C9 D9 I6 W9 T0 Y9 B9 K9 M9 L9 V9 S9 N0 Q0 O0
18-Nov F8 A8 J9 C9 D9 I7 W9 T0 Y9 B9 K9 M9 L9 V9 S9 N0 Q0 O0
19-Nov F9 A8 J9 C9 D3 I0 W9 T3 Y9 B9 K9 M9 L0 V0 S0 N0 Q0 O0
20-Nov F9 A5 J9 C0 D0 I0 W9 T9 Y9 B9 K9 M9 L0 V0 S0 N0 Q0 O0
21-Nov F9 A8 J9 C9 D0 I0 W9 T4 Y9 B9 K9 M9 L0 V0 S0 N0 Q0 O0
(Probably looking at 21 Nov)

(Serfty I sent you a PM, but I don't think it worked as I can't see it in Sent items. Apologies if you do get it)

Decided to go on 20th, as a friend told me they were on the same flight  so now we are sitting together :)

Now to test Row 71 the 2 seats at the rear of plane. Anyone tried these? I've always sat forward window ...

Flights are not necessarily busier. It could be that Qantas yield management believe they can sell seats for a higher price on those days for some reason. This is often the case for weekends. While this often relates to fuller flights, its not always the case.

Yep.. On QF94 LAX-MEL. Bit bouncier (or at least seemed it) but nice having the 2x config and lots of room between the seats and the window.

At least I can just walk behind and do some stretches, but make sure "not with my friend" or we will be "congregating and violating US law" :!: oh wait, that was only for the US flight  ... (got busted for stretching at back of plane and friend travelling next to me came too on a SYD-LAX flight )

BlueAU, can you elaborate.......I'm confused as to the problem :?:

All is good redroo with the booking now. I was just asking about row 71 ..

And then side tracked, when I was on a US sector, I got busted for going to rear of aircraft and stretching while talking to my friend, as we were congregating as a crowd (2 of us) .. :)

Yeah, the crowd bit was what I was confused about!
So 2 or 3 friends having a chat standing up is what? a security threat
