The transfer time was four business days a couple of weeks ago - to Kris and to Velocity
Seems to be a problem at the moment with transfer times - I'm still waiting after 2 weeks. This is unusual as previously my transfers have only taken a few business days.
Has anyone else had a problem with Citi - Kris transfer times recently ?
I transferred online from Citi on Sunday 2/12. The status is showing as "fulfilled" 2/12 but nothing has come into Kris !
I'll give it a few more days....
Better phone Citi based on my 4 phone calls. It has never taken longer than 2 days for my transfers.
Pushed back again and she said she'd get her supervisor involved in speaking to the back-office again, and call me tomorrow. I don't expect a different answer, but at least both agents understood the issue properly and I got the call-back as promised.
Success! Well, maybe not quite success (no points yet), but definitely progress.
Are points only transferable to the card holders's krisflyer account? Or can the points be transferred to friends kf account as well
I've had Citi Select for over 1.5 years and it's been my experience that they do not charge any currency conversion fee, contrary to what the documents may say.
So whilst overseas I use my select for credit purchases and 28 degrees to withdraw cash and pay for those cash only places. Works well.
I use 28-degrees for credit purchases while the Select stays behind as a 'reserve'.
I am yet to be convinced of the point benefits once you take the fees / exchange rate into account.
Maybe someone with better numbers skill can convince doubters like me that the 5-point per overseas spend is worth the rewards points despite the fees etc...
BTW, when I informed Citi of my travel (to avoid possible blocking), they expressly remind me of the 3% conversion fee.
Sure, it has not been applied in your case but why would Citi remind me of something they are not doing !
