... This is not going to work with only 4 stops in the USA... Can't earn enuf SC.. argh!
Chucksta, Aren't you confusing stopovers with transits?

A stop over is when the scheduled departure time of the outbound flight for a port is 24 hours or more after the scheduled arrival of your inbound flight to that port.

A transit is when the scheduled departure time of the outbound flight for a port is less than 24 hours after the scheduled arrival of your inbound flight to that port.

You certainly can earn enough SC's, just make sure at least 3 of your departures are within 24 hours of arrival -overnighting is fine.

but there is a max of 2 free stopovers in any one region. so to get to 7 in NA, he needs to purchase 5 additional NA stopovers.
That post was incorrect and was deleted before the ink dried ... ;) I'd appreciate if you could erase the incorrect quote as well.

The only transit I have is in HKG (less than 24 hours).

The rest are all stop overs ranging from 2 days to 3 months!

What should I do?

Serfty: Did you see my PM?

This is my route: CGK-HKG-SFO-ORD-LGA-MIA-DFW-LAS-LAX-SYD-CGK

HKG <24 hours
SFO > 24
ORD >24
LGA >24
MIA >24
DFW >24
LAS >24
LAX >24
SYD >24

What should I do?

Possibly it will fail at the eticketing stage; if it gets through that, then you are likely to only have an issue if you bring attention to the issue yourself.

i.e. Avoid making any changes; simply fly the routes. Agents rarely look at the fare code of an established booking unless they need to verify that changes they may be asked by you to undertake are legal.
