Christmas Gifting.... what are your plans / ideas?

We are religious but in our religion Christmas is not a time for giving unless you happen to be celebrating a name day on Christmas Day.

But since we have lived in Australia for close to 40 years and in the spirit of capitalism mum buys us gifts for Christmas and combines Christmas, birthdays and name day gifts into this one day.

I generally just give my parents some cash as they are well past the receiving gifts age although I may get mum some perfume this year.

Our family wants for nothing. We have homes, cars, clothes, food and good health etc.

Our most precious resource is time - so that is what we give each other. Our time.

We enjoy spending time together but don't get much chance due to our busy and diverse lives - so we love Christmas because we get to spend time together.

It is a priceless gift

Books for the niece (7) and nephew (4). A visit from their favourite Aunty and lots of one on one time.
That will ensure favourite Aunty stays in the number 1 position.
