I'm still considering changing, but will regret it if I am in Canberra and I don't hit the nightclubs.

Can't make the trip as too close to me heading to France but will be in CBR so would be interested in joining any Saturday night festivities. I could be the welcome party I live only a short walk away from the station in Kingston. Sounds like fun.

Jkyn, closer to time, check to see what Countrylink is doing, you might be able to catch the train for $20 and ride up to Tarago or Bungendore to meet us for the run into the Capital.

According to the new timetable, the 634 also departs 11:40 Sat. and has Bungendore 12:19, Tarago (when required) 12:43 and Goulburn 13:10.

The CP does appear to be quite popular, although the rates aren't too friendly.

MartinMemo, I think you should be able to walk to the nightclubs from either the Novotel or the Crown Plaza. The Hyatt is on the wrong side of the lake.

Yeah I realised I was confusing them last night, thought the two clubs I want to go to are much closer to the Novotel. I did consider booking till I saw what you saw - standard room rate of $250+... I assume they jacked it up when they noticed the popularity coming out of nowhere from the AFF bookings? Or is it always that high? I booked the Novotel at $150 fully flexi but will prob lock it in at $130 no cancel no change in the next few days.

Yeah, I will still only be silver but Mo is usually pretty good in the lounge and she will prob let me jump on the flight with you guys... Otherwise i guess ill have more pancake time.
