It seems QF didn't make all the changes to reduce the fuel surcharge for bookings made yesterday as promised in their press release. I am not sure when the changes were implemented - some time between middle of the day yesterday and this morning I suspect.

If you made a booking that should have had the fuel surcharge reduced (not all flights had the reduction - not for longhaul sold ex-NZ for example  ), you should double check the fuel surcharge reduction has in fact been applied.

If not then you need to call to get a refund for the overcharge. QF advises they will not deal with this by email or proactively.

Should this also apply to award bookings that haven't been charged to your credit card yet?

NB, not all routes have a reduction in fuel surcharges.
