Considering flights can only be booked 235 days in advance.... the fare levels/ bookings will be a while off ....

Around the $1400 return mark is considered “ cheap” these days …

Yes, under $1400 is quite good. Fares have gone down so much in real dollars, my ticket in May 1991 Sydney to LAX was $1200 on QF and that was cheap then.
