Yes it's always verboten but I've just received a booking done for me (via a third party) and I was looking to add the QFF number. When I entered the reference number and tried to add the FF number I was knocked back. I think it's because my name is spelt appallingly wrong in lower case with the 'Mr' attached like it's part of my name. I would guess they'll let me on the plane but is there a way to change this online? Or at all for that matter?

Thanks.

If they are typos then I woul dbe calling the airline call centre to have them sort it out.

If that doesn't work then I guess you might have to travel then claim the points retrospectively by post.

If what you're seeing is "Johnmr Smith", then thats a GDS thing, it's the way it transfers over from Galileo, as all mine look the same.

If it is a GDS booking, the person who booked it should be able to plug your number right into the booking direct.

If it is a minor typo on a QF ticket, Just contact reservations or the FF service centre and they will fix it up on the spot. (Note minor eg: Mr instead of Ms, or Smiht instead of Smith)

I have done it many times before for people.

You may have issues if it is something more though.

Good luck.

Not always true IME. Had to make a claim after I flew to get the points.
