SWMBO had her CX (SG) details attached to a booking in order to get more favourable seating allocation.

She usually changes this in the QP prior to departure so that points are allocated to QF.

She forgot to do so this morning and I was wondering if anyone here has been able to change these details after departure.

Any info appreciated.

The flight will probably already have processed to the wrong account. Occasionally threads along similar lines have popped up and I'd say it's probably not worth the trouble now, but you'd have to get the transaction into the wrong account reversed by talking to Marco Polo Club, and when that's done, apply for missing credit to Qantas Frequent Flyer.

I guess there's every chance it hasn't credited yet and you could apply for the missing points to QFF now, but not sure if that'd work.

I actually recently booked my mum a flight, entered her CX details for seat selection, and can't work out how to remove the number from the details, probably would take a phone call, but then I'm not authorised on her account. Something similar could be done in your case, but they'll no doubt realise the flight has already been taken.

Try the Finnair website - I believe now CX use Amadeus that it can work.
