Can anybody inform me where to look for info on fees for changing a return flight from eg Lax to Bne.I know how to go to Manage My Booking and Change an existing booking, but i am enquiring for a family member who would like to know the cost involved once the travel has started. The ticket has not yet been purchased, but would be the standard cheap/ Red-E Deal.I had a look at the QF site for change fees, but all i am finding is the info for pre-existing bookings. Is there such a table i can look up this info.
ThankTerry.

Search for the flight you're after (dates aren't important) and then on the Select Your Fare page click on the i next to the fare type at the top. It will tell you the change fees for that particular fare type, Sale, Saver, etc.

Note as well as any change/service fee, the 'fare difference' will also be payable.
Generally the closer you get to travel the cheaper fare buckets sell out, so only more expensive fares available.

If booked on say a $1000 Sale BNE-LAX return.
And then midway through the trip you wanted to change the return date.

I could very easily see a $200 change fee and $300-500 fare difference as well as $80 service fee if done by phone.

eg. for current sale fares:

Thanks for the extra info,i have do some calculations and forwarded them to the relavant parties so they can decide which fare to choose.
Terry.
