Has anybody noticed any changes with QF's points requirements for upgrades?

Frequent Flyer - Using Points - Flight Upgrades

I hope I'm reading it wrong but the table now says a SYD-PER upgrade from full Y to J is 15000 points. Previously it was 10000.

Have I missed something? When did all this change?

Also note what must surely be a typo where an upgrade in zone 4 is actually less points from discount Y than full Y.

Good spotting!

I suspect it's a typo on both counts. The entire "Full Economy to Business" table is a mess.

Including the following errors that I believe are there:

Zone 2 Full Econ-Business 7000 (should be 7500)
Zone 3 Full Econ-Business 15000 (should be 10000)
Zone 4 Full Econ-Business 25000 (should be 15000)
Zone 5 Full Econ-Business 30000 (should be 25000)
Zone 6 Full Econ-Business 35000 (should be 30000)
Zone 7 Full Econ-Business 40000 (should be 35000)

The Business to First Class table contains the same errors as above.

Wrong Cut'n'Paste when they were playing with the tables? Early release of some planned changes that shouldn't have been released? They would have had to inform us before the change, and I don't recall it happening so it's most likely just a cut'n'paste type of typo.

What's your best conspiracy theory? :)

(PS, Qantas are pretty responsive when people report typos to them on the website, so they'll fix it quick if it's a mistake and someone reports it).

I've emailed Qantas through their website feedback option. I'll post any response here.

Dear Danger

Thank you for your correspondence and for drawing this error to our attention.

It must have been after the premium economy rates were released and the table was very messy - this is a lot easier on the eye than before.
