CBR Dinner/Drinks Night on 16 MARCH 2013

So how did it go? Anybody arrested yet?

Just the four of us. The pre dinner drinks didn't pan out. I got to amuse the staff at TPH by turning up two evenings in a row and being unable to give any details of who I was meeting.

Good food, as ever. Lots of it and yummy. I am not entirely keen on weighing myself this morning. We talked of trips and flights, First Class to Paris and ChristChurch to Auckland for $56 by way of BNE and LAX. Some insane adventures.

The usual stuff.

It was quiet in the restaurant, which always rates with me. My hearing isn't my strong point after too much gunner ear in my youth.

I had a pleasant time in like-minded company.

Must find a way to get onto these mistake fares. I've got a bit of time now I'm retired, and a bit of money. Whipping around the world for a hundred dollars or so sounds like a good deal to me.

I was a good night cabbie because I have flexible sleeping habits. Likewise I don't get jetlag. and I have a saint of a wife, who doesn't seem to mind me getting up in the early hours and diving onto the net.
