HKG Pier F this afternoon/evening
Was looking forward to this since I haven't visited this lounge in years. My last visit was quite before MOTT32 started partnering.

Selected the MOTT32 Tasting Experience.
So first the Hong Kong Ice Tea apero...

For being based on tequila, this is quite sweet and pleasant... maybe dangerously pleasant. I'm not a big spirits drinker, so can't detect what kinds of aftertastes or notes thanks to the tequila or Lillet.
Served alongside (or rather, shortly before) the drink was the crab puff amuse bouche...

Tasted nice - crab, bit of cream/mayo and crisp - not sure if it goes with the aperitif, but hey.
Next was the Sichuan dumplings.

Doesn't present well, but great taste. The peanuts added a nice texture. The skin is on the thicker side - nothing wrong with this, but just so people know (also means that one shouldn't wait long before eating it). Can pick up a bit of the mala idea from the sauce, but it won't blow your brains out. Not sure if 3 dumplings would make a nice serve, rather than just 2. Guess one can always order another portion.
Finally, the braised wagyu.

Rich, soft, falls apart, subtly sweet... what more could you want. I ate mine without eating a lot of the rice that it came with, but if all finished would be quite satisfying. Some might call for a side of vegetables to further complement the richness of the wagyu.
