PER-HKG on CX shows as an A333 on six of seven days on the oneworld timetable. I'm looking at CX170 1 March, apparently an A333. EF shows a seat map with F class but does not show any F booking classes.

What type of A333 is on this leg? As far as I can work out there is no AVOD. Is my assumption correct that they don't sell F seats on this route? If so, which lucky flyers get to fly in them?

In CX speak, an A333 is a 3-class A330-300. These are sometimes used on routes that are sold as 2-class. The business class cabin has the long-haul skybed-like business class beds. Some lucky J passengers will get F seats. However, even as a OneWorld Emerald I have had great difficulty in having a row 1 or 2 seat pre-allocated on such a flight. I managed to get one once at check-in, but each other time have been denied and seated in J seats. They seem to keep them for high-status Marco Polo Club members.

And if no high status and light loads i was on a flight where the F was simply empty.
