Catalina Display Launch Dinner at LRE [23 May]

Just a heads up for any members interested in the history of Qantas, with a focus on the Catalina's during the war. The Qantas Founders Museum has long had a Catalina on display, but it was only recently painted in wartime colours and is now ready for proper display.

The details are on their website, though getting to LRE with such short notice might be a bit hard. I'd definitely recommend an event there though, I'm even organising one for next year.

For the price I paid I couldn't care, even perhaps if it was buffet, but thankfully not.

I simply gave my dietary requirements before the dinner so I knew if there was lamb (which there wasn't) I'd be spared.
