Hi All,

I booked a couple of flights with Easyjet (Luton to Paris, Paris to Prague) on the same booking, but now want to cancel the Luton to Paris. I am happy to lose the 60 bucks it cost me, but just can't find an email address or a way of doing this (except having to call the UK call centre from Aus and sit on the phone for who knows how long).

Basically I was wondering if anyone knew what would happen if I just didn't turn up for the flight. Will they cancel all other flight on the same booking?

thanks,

DJ Louie

I don't know anything about Easyjet but assuming they are similar to other airlines, including LCCs. if you do not turn up for the first flight in a booking they may cancel the return or subsequent flights in the booking.

I guess Easyjet do not want to process emails. Your best bet would be to get one of those $10 calling cards from OzPrepaidCards or your local convenience store and it costs ~3c a minute to the UK + connection fee + local call cost.

Thanks JohnK, I posted this same question on flyertalk.com and one member posted this comment:
Easyjet, like most of the other low costs, only sell point to point tickets. So you can miss any booked flight without affecting the rest of your trip.

Don't bother phoning them up to cancel as you won't even get taxes back.

I like your idea as others have suggested the calling card, so to be safe I might do that as well and see how I go.

As I said earlier I do not know anything about EasyJet but I would be very surprised if all sectors on the same booking with any carrier will be viewed as individual point to point bookings. Different story if booking all legs separately.

The taxes do not matter but not calling is asking for trouble. Better safe than sorry.

By the way I booked some flights for mum on A3 (Aegean Airilnes) and I could have booked it as a return booking but there is a slight possibility the inbound flight could be late. In the end I booked 2 one-way flights and all that cost me was an extra €4 booking fee.

i perhaps should have done more research before doing it all as one booking. Actually the flights are a few days apart. The LUT to CDG is on Sunday and then the CDG to PRG is on the Tuesday so we have a few days in Paris. Only a few days you ask  that's cause it's a boys trip to Europe. We are going across for the Farnborough Airshow, but doing a few trips to Paris, Prague and Amsterdam :D
