Can one request an upgrade to J on a Y QF ticket, flying on EK metal? My T/A says no, but just double checking - for my unaccompanied teenage daughter flying MUC-SYD....

Thanks!

Angus

Your TA is right.

But you can still manage your booking directly on the Emirates.com website (for better Y seat selection).
The best A380 seats for solo travellers are the window seats in the row behind the exit row pairs ( 68AK or 81AK). Direct access out - no seat in front to recline.
Otherwise arrive at checkin early for an exit row seat (did this yesterday).

Thank you for the information. Unfortunately 68AK and 81AK have already gone on that flight. Will keep in mind for next time! :-)

My unaccompanied teenage daughter got on an op-up to J on an EK flight and I haven't heard the end of it !
