the credit voucher generated by a one time changed online non-refundable flight. after I use it to purchase another new flight, do I have the right to change the new one online?

Such a change should incur an additional change fee.

IME, i is unlikely (but not impossible) that you will be able to change it on-line.

If you cannot change it online (as is likely); you will need to call Qantas to re-use the credit.

They may assess an additional service, but if you explain you can't change it online this may be waived.

IME you won't be able to change it online ; you'll need to do over the phone and incur the applicable fee.

You have the right to change it but it will cost you.
Recently I had to change about 5 flights with QANTAS and found a relatively easy way minimising costs...
You can do this via Qantas over the phone incurring a Customer Service Charge of $40 and a Change fee of $50(or visa versa) ...However if you CANCEL your flight online by clicking CANCEL on your Booking Details online and wait about 5 mins... you then have a "Credit Voucher" which you can use to purchase another ticket...With only the $50 change fee, skipping the Customer Service fee...

If you have cancelled it once for the purposes of credit voucher creation, you can cancel it again but the voucher will not be created, requiring you to ring the service centre again (and pay the extra charges), I have now had this happen twice, the most recent one this week and yes, I was using the premium desk to sort it out but no waiver - its an "enhancement".

Don't like that enhancement one little bit! Fair Trading would like to know about this one as it's a money making enhancement which is dishonest given that the cancel button is there to press twice!?! If it is not in any fine print on the ticket you originally purchased then this is one for them.

I've never had a change fee wavered by the Customer Service Team at Qantas, would like to know anyone that has as they are never in a negotiating frame of mind when I ring!? It's payment or payment please...

I once put half a journey...Return trip...into credit then created another full journey from the credit voucher so that works. And I'm sure I recently cancelled a trip online that I had previously changed via the helpdesk prior?
