Hi All,

Just wondering why I can't use the QF calculators to determine how many points (well SC's is what I really care about!) on a flight MEL-SGN rtn in J (booked using QF flight numbers but its a codeshare using VN metal). Anyone know?

I'm assuming it's 120 SC's each way.....

Cheers

Dave

I get this auto-response:

There are no direct flights between Melbourne and Ho Chi Minh City. Use the timetable to see connecting flights between these cities

D'oh, I misread the airport code as SIN.

For these instances I use this site to calculate the distance: 4152 miles for MEL-SGN and then this site to work out the QFF points and SCs.

Handy !

Many thanks.

The QF calculator also spit out the same message "no direct flight between DXB and AMS" while flight schedules show plenty of flights (codeshared with EK).

FWIW, 100SC in J between DXB & AMS

I find this site to be easier for SCs:

MileageMonkey

Enter your journey in the "Oneworld validator" section

Select ignore errors

Then hit "Go"

SCs earned are shown below - along with error messages.
