Looking at booking my first JQ international trip but not sure on Jetstar light vs regular baggage allowance.

Would I get away with a normal cabin roll on bag along with an additional laptop backpack?

Also same question for Air Asia...they say only 1 piece of cabin baggage allowed but if I don't have any other luggage maybe I can squeeze the laptop backpack on with my cabin roll on?

Never flown LCC international so not sure how strict they are (I get away with murder on QF/BA/SG!!)

Expect LCC baggage rules to be strictly followed - that's one of the many way they value add to their low fares.

I've read all the small print so am now aware of the limits...
