Looking for suggestions for BYO Lunch.
I’m tired of the usual fare from the cafeteria

Toasted sandwiches are excellent. One of my comfort foods. Trouble is I have to limit my bread intake.I do a lot of ham and cheese toasties at the moment. Chicken and salad sangas are also good, just assemble right before you eat so they dont go soggy.
Nothing beats a crispy fresh Vietnamese roll.I used to work near a Vietnamese bakery and would get fresh rolls for lunch and then use my margarine and Vegemite kept in the work fridge.
Cheap and delicious.

Those recipes look good, especially the dhal. As we eat meat, it would make a great second curry at dinner.I have about 6 different meals I make, do it on a Sunday night and make enough for the week.
Found a new recipe on the weekend for 2 dishes, tried both and Mrs Flashback approved.
Both vegetarian (I'm not but she is so keeps it easy), an aubergine and chickpea daal and a lentil bolognese soup.

But neither does the thought of a hot soup at lunch.Lots of soups in the freezer in single portion size and off to work with a couple of pieces of fruit. Mind you with the weather in Adelaide this week the idea of cooking doesn't appeal much
