Buying Air Canada Aeroplan points

Yes!

Based on your advice we’ve decided to move our holiday to Europe to September to take advantage of this too!

Nice! As long as AP have the reward seats you're looking for during this promo, you'll likely be saving $$ compared to a full cash business fare.

I'm only getting 85% too. Yes to those who argue that the value is still there BUT it is quite a bit cheaper to get 130K x 2 points for J to europe for less that $4800 CAD compared with $5250 CAD. I wish I would get the 110% ....it never seems to happen for me. Maybe I need to open an account for hubby?

Just tried setting him up too but same offer :(

The higher bonus has finished now, dropping back anyway. The 110% i think went to 100?

But that aside… business class to europe on SQ, the extra $200 each way between top and bottom offers isn’t that much.

It’s pretty random who gets what offer. But a second account isn’t a bad idea!

Thank you for letting me know it was temporary. I checked last week and did't have it then either. Obviously just our luck. I would still buy if I needed the points and I still do for trips to Asia. Velocity does't seem to get as much inventory as aeroplan. For Europe trips, I haven't needed to buy points so far because I've manage to secure flights with Krisflyer, Cathay and QR. To Europe - When there are 2 of you flying its effectively $225 for each person, each way so it adds up .....$900 CAD.
