What experience have you had with BuyAirMiles [dot] com?
I am thinking about using it to buy some points for an upcoming trip to Tokyo; having used all my points over christmas
The economics of it, in terms of comparing it's cost against the actual cost of a business class ticket on Singapore Air for SYD-HND.
They charge $19 per 1,000 miles = $0.019 per mile.
It' seems to have quite a few partners,
Of course, this is rather expensive as the value of points in generally $0.010 to $0.012
But even at $0.012 Economy is only worth it, if you already have the points
Thoughts?
