Interesting reading, thanks! Mind you this is the quality of email correspondence from this company:

Dear Virgin Bart,

Thank you for your inquiry.

As mentioned earlier, according to the postage process, once you posted to Bondi Junction Address. If there is any issue in receiving your postage, we will revert you as soonest as possible.

If you have any further queries to the terms and conditions of the campaign at www.flywithstoneleigh.com

Against my better judgement, I thought I would give this a crack too!

Only purchased some vino on Tuesday night and particulars in the post yesterday. Not filled with confidence reading the posts above but it was only $80 for BNE - three NZ ports so we'll see...

My optimistic view on this is a genuine campaign with poor execution.

Indications point to the postal address simply being a forwarding address with mail them being directed to the UK office of the promotion organiser. I expect that once receipts are received by the UK they will be processed, but certainly not within the advertised 7 days of receipt to Sydney.

Looks like someone on the other side of the world concocted a marketing campaign for their multi national employer rather than a local brand running a campaign either internally or with a local agency.

I hope that once the delays and details are sorted someone with deep pockets will present us with eagerly awaited tickets!

Posted my applications express on 9th so they should have had it on 12th. And finally got my request for passport email overnight so good progress.

Purchased another 6 bottles for my wifes application on 21st before the purchase window closed.

Look forward to hearing from anyone who gets their flight offer email!

I've been updating here: Claim 1 of 5000 Free Return Flights with The Purchase of 6 Bottles of Stoneleigh 750ml Wines I am Bart Bart (mostly page 2).

Bought 2x dozens. Sent two applications off, one me, one wife, different emails. Over 2 weeks and no replies.

Received the email to submit my passport details today :) It is up to another 14 day wait for them to now confirm a flight.

Now received 2 emails, 1 for me, 1 for wife , problem is that although I initially submitted exact same destinations and dates, we may not both get the same offer. So idea was to maybe add onto each others as you can add up to 3 passengers. BUT Doing that would leave the promoters the option to then offer the additional passenger a flight but at high cost which would be unacceptable and then would have to reject the offer when it comes in . Game over then. Rules say "at prevailing fares" . Therefore I have submitted the 2 seperate "entries" in the hope that we both get the same "final offer" or if they are different we will have to either travel alone or purchase, if available, a seat on the same flights but I think that would be at a cost less than what the promoters would have charged me. I just dont want to be committing to buying (for the additional passenger) a fare at "prevailing rates" which is completely unknown. We will now get 2 offers, hopefully the same but if different I suppose we have 2 different options of dates and destinations of which to purchase a second fare. If none of that works out, nothing ventured, nothing gained, I still have the 12 wines which cost $130 which arent bad.

I have applied to go to New Zealand (all three alternatives) for a long weekend. I enjoy travel, but my wife hates the process. I have received an email that tells me my application has been successful, and now await a flight offer. I will accept any offer given, but will only find a matching flight for my wife if she can be bothered...why lock yourself into buying a ticket for your partner ,if you are not certain that it will be good value ? I suspect that the deal with the airline (whichever one that is) is that they hope they will get other seats filled for each seat they give away.

Exactly.. Agreed.Airlines sometimes offer 2for1 offers with price for 1 bumped up. I suspect same here, passenger 1 flies free but passenger 2 pays extra.. See my post above. If I can get wife on same flight at ok price I will do , but if not, I will pass on whole thing. Why commit to an unknown and perhaps exhorbitant fare for the extra person.

I sent my replies back this morning and by 9.00pm I had an offer. Perth-Bali return for 8 days in November. Would have preferred Melbourne but thats OK. With Jetstar. I can buy via Jetstar or Webjet a tix for my wife for around $300 return, on the same flights, so I have accepted the offer. We are retired so dont mind hoping over to Bali for a week. I have accepted the offer and will await the ticket before booking the wifes. If I change my mind then I will get the free ticket and just not take the flight.

So I got my "ticket"...
Email below, bit concerned re. "Your booking confirmation serves as your ticket" as booking confirmation (second scan below) is nothing like an ETicket and the Airline ref code is not recognised on Jetstar "manage booking"... The letter does say that I will probably have to checkin online but if the jetstar system does not recognise the code...problems.. Will wait and see what luck/experiences others have before any further action.

You should be able to go on "manage my bookings" with the code and surname to check your status ?

So they rejected my application. Without telling me. Apparently they thought of a requirement that my passport has to be valid for six months, mine has four - it's not in the T&Cs (and I obviously am getting a new one). I'll fight it.
