Most spreadable butters are indeed butter with added vegetable oil. The spreadable butter from Mainland (Fonterra) is only made from butter (I believe processed to remove some of the specific types of fats).
Lurpak is available in either butter (salted or unsalted) or spreadable butter (butter + vegetable oil) versions - definitely not margarine.
The spreadable version spreads out of the fridge, and for me is the only spreadable product that tastes at least somewhat like butter apart from Mainland.
Personally not fond of margarine, and very thankful that QF often serve my favourite butter....
