Business return Melb to London with poiints

Hi Guys,

I have more than enough points to secue me a return melb to heathrow flight departing mid Oct. I have ZERO idea how to go about it to maximise any chance of earning point and status credits? I am a silver qff member and would appreciate any advice that those in the know may be able to share with me

How long do you want to go for and how flexible are you with dates?

Must admit, at first I laughed to myself. J-reward availability MEL-LHR a month out, however there does appear to be availability on EK.

Finding a JASA, however (which would earn you both SCs and Points) ... highly unlikely since this would have to be on QF metal, unless I'm very mistaken.

Yep, but given sufficient flexibility I can see a JASA over and a FASA back (or at least the necessary Classic availability) about three weeks apart... not sure if they'd also be available to a SG, though.

im very flexible and happy to fly other airlines and have stop overs

im not thinking of returning until first 2 months of 14 if thatll help??
