Not bad for any MEL residents who are on Double Status Credit promo - quick evening status run there and back.
(tougher from SYD).

Edit... Yes - Clearly I ignored the word Classic, and just assumed ASA, particularly with the no cash option.

classic awards are not much of a status run - double 0 is still 0 ;)

Well, one can book these fares at the 12,000 e/w
ppplus.bmp
or do an ASR for 32,000 QFF and $108. (39,958 points only)

The ASR will earn 80 SC's and 2250 QFF points without the double SC promotion.

Looks like yields are still soft after June 30, wonder if thats an indication they may extend the double SC promo ;) ?

If they really want to increase loads, maybe they should replace the current batch of soft loaders with the rest of the QFF program who went without double SCs during the promo? ;)

Indeed if someone wanted to earn status as part of the double SC promo they could choose not to book a classic award as per the thread title :p

I think rather than extend it, they should share the love with some others (Like me perhaps! ;))

I hope they do, however the right to extend was specifically mentioned in the email this time around, I dont think it was in the email sent last year, could be wrong.

I wasn't lucky enough to get the email to read it! :(
