YIKES, don't know if I'm in awe or losing control of my tail-growing muscle! I think I've just read a potential vision of me in 5 years - I'd better get back to my Shiraz and my comfy sofa to make the most of it. Looks like I'm going to be enjoying Red wine for a while longer but it's gonna be from a suitcase or a trolley :)
Now off to read up on NAN's LAN's & YUP's. Can you get a degree in this stuff?

Keep reading my friend :)

Yes I received the last double SCs offer in December. It is not suitable as I book my travel months in advance. Is it wrong to be against double SCs offers for anyone?

Yes there is.

I look for value in airfares. Your point? I have done YUPs, LAN run, will do a NAN run if I was desperate, I will use any seat awards, I maxxed out a Oneworld award just for the fun ot it, I flew arounf Australia on easy points before they closed the loophole, I was going to fly around Asia on CX until they closed the loophole, I flew AY business class and loved tag flights, I flew the Qld milk run, I fly/and wlll continue to fly CX business class, I will try RJ soon, refuse to fly Jetstar, will maximise a DONE if I had more money, have used BA premium economy for extrs SCs, will route in convoluted ways to earn extra SCs (eg SYD-MEL-PER-SIN-BKK-SIN-PER-SYD), purchase airfares originating overseas for my regular trips to Thailand, I am accumulating miles on VS, I will start to utilise cash + awards on BD and I commute SYD-BNE almost weekly.

I don't ask for handouts and I spend the time researching these things for hours and hours. Now I am sure all of that makes me a bad person....

I didn't say you were a bad person, perhaps just a bit hypocritical.
