Hi guys

Flying with Emirates from Budapest to Dubai after a river cruise in October. Does anyone have comments/experience with lounges in Budapest. Who can access ect. I am a Qantas club member but that appears not to carry much access over there.
Any responses appreciated.
Cheers

Re: Budapest lounges

If you are flying in Y, QP gives you no access in Budapest

Re: Budapest lounges

EK use a contract lounge there which is adequate, but really nothing special, so you wouldn't be missing out on much.
For those that do have access, note that it's located after security, but before passport control.

Re: Budapest lounges

Was in BUD back in May. The lounge EK uses is.... bare bones. Food was miserable(what little there was) and drink selection was average.. and it was full. Honestly not a place to spend time

And no access for QP members unless flying in a premium cabin on EK - but not missing much at all tbh.

Yeah, I was probably being overly kind when I said 'adequate'.
