British Airways offers specials from KUL

To celebrate its return to KUL on 28 May, BA has return specials in 4 classes:

Select Malaysia as default.

Special fares are available for travel between May 28 and November 30. Book until 16 June.

Not bad - but they can do better!

In 2011 they offered fly J for F (return) we got BNE-SYD-BKK-LHR-MAD...CDG-xLHR-xBKK-SYD-BNE for <6k for the kids and ~8k for us.

SYD-LHR-BKK-SYD was F ... the rest was J.

Not bad - but they can do better!

Etihad is coming in a fair bit cheaper ($1000 or so). Plus without status on OW you have to add in costs for seat selection etc with BA, can make a gefty addition to the fare.
