According to this link on the ACCC

British Airways proposes to run a promotional campaign from 15 October 2008 to 15 November 2008, offering reduced airfares to consumers for travel originating in Australia from 1 December 2008 to 31 January 2009 on condition that:

-the consumer books the flight through the British Airways website (ba.com/mastercard) and
-the consumer books the flight using a MasterCard credit card.

The offer is a $250 discount off airfares from Australia when booked on ba.com/mastercard

Lots more juicy info in the PDF of the letter that is attached.

The ACCC notifications site can be interesting in flagging future offers. Some of them don't seem to see the light of day though

www.ba.com/mastercard took me to a section of their website focused on South African customers.

The promotion says "a mastercard [emphasis added]" but the web link promotes a BA-branded card. Is it safe to assume it is indeed any Mastercard?
