Boracay with a baby

This went off without a hitch - Shangri-La transfers were perfect, typhoon Neoguri kept its distance, and our friends had the beach wedding they wanted.

The only issues were the L3s! Our son hated the vans.

We went ADL-xSYD-MNL, MNL-MPH vv. I was a bit unhappy QF took our pram MNL-SYD, we were able to take it as carry-on everywhere else.

I also got a CSM greeting way back in row 46! Very surprising.

Nice to hear your feedback about your trip.

Shangri-La was really good. We'd never stayed in a resort like that before, it was all so convenient. Neoguri meant that the first few days were a bit wet and windy, but by the end of the week we were able to enjoy the pools.

At times it wasn't the easiest place to get around for our pram - it made me realise how good ADRs are at times. On the other hand, I was able to see what they could do when constrained by only money...

The staff adored our son. They couldn't take their eyes off him. We would have loved to have left him behind!

We caught the hotel shuttle to D Mall a few times - it was a bit bumpy and the drivers too comfortable with the road. Our son enjoyed the trips on the tricycles and the boat. 11 of us bundled into an L3 (I think it was actually a Nissan of some type) down to Tibiao, on the way back we saw a semi that had rolled... fortunately the driver was OK.
