If you're booking this itinerary, flying QF93 (MEL-LAX) on an AA codeshare ticket (and AA7349 flight number for QF93), connecting to an AA U.S. domestic flight, all on the same ticket, do you:

1. Get 2 checked-in baggages all the way through (for economy)?
2. Have the ability to do advanced seat selection in advance on the QF93 flight?
3. What about on-line check-in (via the Qantas site) when it opens 24 hours before departure?

I don't believe so .. I think you need a QF flight number for at least the first flight.

2. should be able to.
I booked SYD-LAX on AA awards for Oct14 and was able to select seats on QF Manage My Booking....not sure if booking class impacts this (mine is F)

Edit:ignore the above, mine is booked into a QF flight no.
