Hi all this may be some place here and I have not found it, and I think I'm if I'm posting it incorrectly someone will move it delete it or spank me lol,if not can you help.I want to book two First tickets using points and want to travel on or around the 4th July 2012 Melbourne London returning 21st July Any one of you experienced AFFers know how to make this happen

Start looking at T-353 days!

On-line the seats become available at midnight UTC (10am EST).

There are reports one can telephone QFF earlier than that and snaffle the seats before they become available online. This is at the cost of the service¹ fee².

¹ Previously known as the "assisted Award Booking Fee".

² International: 6,000 QFF points per PAX or $60.

You would go into the frequent flyer part of the Qantas website, search on an award booking and put those dates in (put that your flexible with dates so you will see what other days might have first class seats if those exact ones don't, then search i think, when the next screen comes up with the days of the month and what seats are available, you have the option to tick boxes up the top to show availablility of economy, prem economy, business and first class seats and then press 'GO'...

you would then click on the days that had the first class seats that you wanted and then click on their little radio dial under the first class column and then click through as normal wouldn't you?? not that i have booked any first class seats yet... :(

also, you might not be able to books seats ahead that far ust yet...
