Booking Jetstar flights on OTA's or even Qantas can you upgrade the 'bundle' after purchase?

I am travelling to Vietnam/Cambodia shortly and find on OTA's like Expedia (and others) and even the Qantas site itself options to fly a full service carrier one way (Vietnam Airlines for example) and then return with Jetstar. I can see that the booking class with Jetstar is the Starter bundle (a nifty trick by the OTA's) but I need baggage and other pieces in the higher bundles.

After I book a ticket with Expedia or Qantas.com ..can I then go on to Jetstar with the PNR and upgrade the bundle (not change date or go from economy to business just increase the bundle).

If yes, is the pricing similar to as if I was on the Jetstar site itself selecting higher bundles or do they penalize you in some way?

Booking with an OTA it's not possible unless you get them to do it (highly unlikely) and such change would require a fare difference + change fee.

It's worth noting that the different bundles are not add ons (like you'd have for extra baggage) but they're instead a whole new fare category.

thanks for that graphic ..that makes sense now ..so I need to ensure if i 'wan't' starter plus features then I need to make sure the OTA is quoting me L-S ...and so on.

Of course the one I am looking at is 'H' ..not the one I want!

Cheers
