This is another crystal ball question.

I like to book trips in advance. With talk of AA and what the future holds for them (and my lack of understanding of the whole thing), is it ok to book us domestic and int'l flt. with them now? The int'l is phl-lhr; lhr-dfw. I've been looking for awhile and with the dollar dropping, I don't want to take a chance for fare to continue to go up, as it has.

I prefer AA to BA and why I've chosen them for int'l route.

Many thanks again to alleviate my anxiety of my o.c.d. of the need to book in advance. :)

I don't think there is any issues booking with AA. I've just booked a return ticket with AA from Europe to JFK and I'm not worried at all. I agree, I also prefer flying AA over BA. If you are still concerned, take out travel insurance that will cover airline bankruptcy.

I have AA bookings for November and am planning soon on making bookings for March - not concerned at all.

And of course if you pay with your (points earning!) credit card you will be refunded if they go broke. Which I very much doubt they will.

I've just booked my AA flights for november as an add on to my Circle Pacific. The fare has dropped a lot in the last 3 months and now with our dollar dropping I thought it was time.

Looking to book flights from LAX - CUN - LAS in November. About $600USD... Should I book now or wait to see if prices drop/go on sale?
